Photographic postcard depicting Dame Ellen Terry as Queen Guinevere from 'King Arthur'. The photograph was taken by Window & Grove and printed by J Beagles and Co., c.1895.
Terry is shown in three-quarter length standing in front of a blurred background of a garden. She wears a cape over the top of a long-sleeved dress with embellishments and embroidery detail on the cuffs, she wears multiple necklaces and a flower crown, and holds a large cherry blossom branch in her hands. She looks to her left away from the viewer.
The reverse has no message but has an address and is dated 20th April 1904.
