Cabinet card depicting Vincent Sternroyd as Monsieur Château-Renaud in Alexandre Dumas' 'The Corsican Brother's'. Sternroyd perfomed this role between 1906-1907 at the Prince's Theatre, Bristol and Adelphi Theatre in London, under John Martin-Harvey's company. Sternroyd is depicted half length and seated facing the viewer. He wears a fur-lined jacket, with cravat, white shirt and black top hat.
