Cabinet card depicting actor James Carter Edwards as Iago in William Shakespeare's play 'Othello'. Edwards is depicted three-quarter length and sitting in a chair, his body facing the left. He holds his left hand to his face and his right hand grips his belt. He wears a long-sleeved tunic and white shirt over tights, a chain is draped over his chest, and a dagger in a sheath hangs from his belt.
