Postcard depicting Sir John Martin-Harvey as Sidney Carton in 'The Only Way', an 1899 stage adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel 'A Tale of Two Cities', written by Freeman Wills and Frederick Langbridge, and performed at the Lyceum Theatre in London. He is depicted three-quarter length and seated facing the left. He wears a light-coloured trench coat with black cravat and white shirt.
