Cabinet card depicting actor Sir Henry Irving as the title character in the 1878 play 'Vanderdecken' written by Percy Fitzgerald and William Gorman Wills, and performed at the Lyceum Theatre. He is depicted half length and facing the viewer. He wears a fur coat and cap.
