Head and shoulders, bust to left, head turned to face spectator. The sitter has dark hair falling over her shoulders and wears a white dress. Isabella Mattocks has the same cast of features, but the miniature was probably painted too late to show her. CKA suggests a date of c.1795 and unconvincingly attributes the miniature to Hone.
