This photographic postcard depicts the actor manager Lewis Waller, Charles Allan, Dorothy Dix and the child actress Rita Leggiero, in the play 'A White Man', by the American playwright Edwin Milton Royle, performed at the Lyric Theatre in 1908. Lewis Waller is depicted as, with one hand on Dorothy Dix's (1892-1970) shoulder, as she embraces the actress playing Little Hal. On the left Charles Allen (1852-1911) as Malcolm Petrie turns away from the emotional scene.
